Give us a break! No, give us 230 million breaks!

While the exact age of dinosaurs is up for debate, the existence of them is not… unless you’re user CADministry from

This person was outraged that children are being taught about dinosaurs in school because they didn’t exist before the 1800s and because they teach children to be violent.

At first, people thought this parent was kidding when part of the spiel said:

“Aside from the educational aspect, dinosaurs are a very bad example for children. At my children’s school, several children were left in tears after one of their classmates (who had evidently been exposed to dinosaurs), became bestially-minded and ran around the classroom roaring and pretending to be a dinosaur. Then he bit three children on the face. One poor girl has been left with a severely dented nose and the whole class was left traumatised by this horrible display.”

Because that was clearly the extinct dino’s fault… Also, by that logic, we shouldn’t teach kids about lions, and tigers, and bears, right?! Then there was this anecdote:

“Recently my sister foolishly gave my two youngest some dinosaurs toys for Christmas. After telling her to get out of my house I burnt the dinosaurs. My children were delighted because they know that dinosaurs are evil. I am fortunate that my family has been very supportive, and has disowned my children’s former aunt.”

Disowning an aunt over a gift?! It’s not like it was a blowup doll or something! LOLz!

We’d like to think this poster was trolling the world with this loooooong message, that ended in a call to action for parents to get dinosaur cirriculum out of school. Unfortunately, CADministry defended the points against other posters.

Hypotenuse offered, “I heard they’re all into drugs too. The T Rex is the only dinosaur who is not a pothead, and that’s only because he can’t reach his mouth with the spliff.”

But CADministry continued on, saying:

“It’s time we took a step back, and really looked at what we’re doing. Often the most damaging things are the hardest to see, because they’re so accepted. Look at lead paint, or slavery.”

We’re totally at a loss, and even more so because this poster said 217 people signed the petition to get dinosaurs out of the curriculum! What’s even more curious is that this poster is a part of a 4,000 member group called Christians Against Dinosaurs… which has to be fake, right?!

We have to know what you think about this situation…
